I've also been acclimating to the RP scene on FFXIV and am having a lot of fun! Most of my roleplaying expertise comes from World of Warcraft, so it might be a little different from how most folk do it, and I'm still learning! ❤

Dahlea is a rough and tough rowdy type, usually seen hanging out around taverns and bars when she's off of work. She's eager to get into bar fights and is actually well known for it, in fact, and oft times gets banned from them for being as rowdy as she is. In recent years, after taking up her parents work, she's become more of a gentler type and left a majority of the bar fights to the past. She, however, does still want to live in the moment and occasionally still incites fights ever so often, but it's much /much/ calmer than how it used to be. She's more open to the fact of taking names by actually having a conversation instead of beating it out of people... But nonetheless, she's still holding onto that rough and rowdy part of her through her personality. Just from the way she speaks you can tell she's eager to rile someone up, but if it's a friendly face, she'll try her best to calm it down- if she can.When you finally get to know her, though, she's learned to spoil her friends rotten. Since she works at a jammery, she usually gives gifts of jam jars and fresh berries whenever she can. When her close friends are around, it's when her personality turns a lot sweeter than what most folks are used to.... Maybe it's because of the jam?
Basic Backstory
Dahlea Earliglow is really your run of the mill Viera. She grew up in Gridania, on a farm with her parents who run a jammery that has been passed on through generations. During her time growing up, she's seen many adventurers of differing types pass in and out of the orchard, looking for a bite to eat or a little pick me up. She's always strived to be like them, but knew that her fate was ultimately sealed into going into the jamming business, just like her parents did. From then on, she had secretly set up a "training course" in one of the forgotten sheds on her parents property, using it to get stronger and try and grow up to ultimately be the adventuring type... But sadly, that day never came. Many moons passed by, but no opportunities sprang up for her to start getting into the business of adventure. As she trained herself, she went out to the taverns and bars of Eorzea, purposefully inciting brawls and bar fights just to test her capabilities. No matter how hard she fought, her destiny was still set in stone for her... And the day finally came. At this point, she's already owned her parents jamming business for a handful of years now. She's actually grown to enjoy it, even if she still holds a bit of contempt in her heart about not achieving her true dream. Day in and day out she sells jam and assists her parents in some aspects of the farm. After her work hours are up, she still tends to frequent taverns and can sometimes still get into a brawl herself. She's a lot more independent now that she's grown, and her parents are genuinely proud of her for taking up the reigns when she was reluctant. You'll know the products coming from the family, proudly sporting the "Earliglow Family Farms" tag right on the label. If you're ever in the market for jam, she's your Viera.... But there's a spark still in her, looking for that taste of adventure, of exploration. Outside of Gridania, even outside of Ul'dah or Limsa Lominsa... She wants to see it all, wants to finally fight the good fight for town and country. And maybe, just maybe... with another opportunity on the horizon...And about her accent... She imports her jams to the likes of Doma and other places outside of Eorzea, so she's oft times on ships checking that her goods don't get damaged. She's been on plenty of voyages, which causes her to communicate with sailors and even sometimes pirates- and the accent just kind of.. stuck.
